Milly had a big laugh; a tall red beehive hairdo and a knack for getting people around her kitchen table. She made a mean pan of fried chicken, too. Milly was my grandmother.
I grew up sitting on her kitchen counters watching her turn out biscuits and gravy, cherry pies and golden Thanksgiving turkeys. She’s the reason I love food and love feeding people.
Milly’s Supper Club is about bringing people together around the table for honest food, new friendships and hopefully some good laughs as well. It’s about channeling my grandmother’s generous spirit to bring you meals prepared with love. And about taking a bit of time to breathe in the pleasure of a summer evening in the garden.
I hope you’ll join us for one of our supper club dinners. Each one will feature a multi-course menu created around whatever’s freshest at the farmers market. There’ll be drink pairings, old-fashioned dinner games, and we might even talk our friend Sam into bringing out his vinyl collection a time or two. If you like good food and good people, you’ll be right at home.
Milly’s Supper Club is on hiatus until the weather warms up and the garden starts to bloom.
You can sign up for updates below. I look forward to seeing you then!
